The little bamboo room had fallen with the heavy rain…
The family rebuilt it, but had no space to cook… The two beds filled their room… We built a cooking space for them…

It was Christmas in April for the Tonsupa community! Kids playing everywhere. Lots of school supplies.
Clothes for the mothers and their kids… 

We thank you all for your hard work, loving hands, generous hearts! 

This past Saturday we have continued our work on the pre school fence. The mothers of the kids and volunteers work in the construction of the school fence for the safety of our kids who will be attending our new center. We will also soon have the water sewage for bathrooms and the kitchen. We plan to open our Lumbisi child care center on April 2008. We thank the families who have contributed financially for the completion of the pre school construction. And we thank the mothers for their fund raising effort, selling used clothes and performing raffles in order to get the funds for their kids pre school.

This past Saturday, all the parents kids and teachers got together in Santa Ines Child Care Center to paint the walls and furniture for our kids. They used bright, lively colors. 

It was a sunny, lovely day for all of us working together in Santa Ines. 

Parents, teachers and the community working together for the well being of our kids.

We all enjoyed painting the center so that it looks very attractive for our little kids. 

It is taking us a while to finish our pre school. The kids cannot move in their new school yet, mainly because the city water system has not provided for water yet. We are pressing on them so that our kids can enjoy running water.
